Tents and camping memories

Managed to leave work very punctually this evening so I was back for book group. Our book was 'The Tent, The Bucket and Me' a very funny account of Emma Kennedy's family holidays in a tent.

The discussion of the book led to lots of accounts of everybody's camping experiences. I'd managed to find some photos from the 1980s of my family's camping trips. Putting the tent up was a military operation but this blue version served us well and is currently in my garage. We had a holiday in it when my kids were small and it was still OK.
