Holiday Monday

Since July 4th fell on Sunday, today was a holiday for most of those who work. Kent had today off work and he decided it was the perfect day for getting all the shrubs trimmed up around the house.

It’s not just across the front of the house but down the east side of the house and across half the back of the house.

Then it was burning of all the clippings. A slow burn because everything was so green but it burned well nonetheless.

Once Kent had the fire going and things were burning, I decided to go ahead and come inside as I had had enough of the heat.

I had a nice long shower to try and revive myself and then I sat down to do some bead weaving. I decided to do the Wiggle bracelet with the delica beads but to use the colours I had used to make my Russian Leaf earrings.

I haven’t got a lot done on the bracelet but I’ve made a nice start. Tomorrow is going to be a full day so off to bed early.
