Contoocook River

After a long rainy weekend, the sun was a most welcome sight today.  I had a really nice catch up/breakfast early with a friend of Sumner's.  She always makes time to stay in touch and with two young children it's not an easy task.  Her husband was home for the holiday so we just visited for a couple of hours.  Later Jon and I popped out for a disappointing light dinner in Henniker, the only Henniker on earth.  The scenery was lovely but the food not so much and the ice cream shop was closed! Back to routine and work tomorrow.
