If we could turn back time..

..to the "good old days"..I would like to travel back to photograph a meganisoptera (from which damsel- and dragonflies derive) cruising the sky with its wingspan of 70 cm. That must have been quite a thing! Still it is always mesmerizing to watch the modern day "opteras" fly with their perfect control both of wing shape and angle and the possibility to adjust their position or stop one or more wings to achieve the desired flight pattern.  They really are an engineering masterpiece!
