The Barn Owl Box

Today was a big day for the Barn Owl I'd photographed earlier in the month (March 2-7). My friend and I spent the morning building and erecting his/her new nest box. It was a great introduction for me into the world of owl conservation. Hopefully it will be used and nurture a new generation on owls.
Also discovered through the local wildlife trust that we need to situate a second box within a radius of 1/2 mile from this box to encourage a pair.
It's amazing the things you learn when you take a picture!!
