We bought a new car!

Several years after the sad demise of the 2CV, we finally got around to buying a new car, and we picked it up this morning!
Elvis and I had a very early walk, and then Mr F and I had to go into Saintes for a lesson in how to use it. Mr F has been doing his homework and reading the online manual so he was quite ok with it all, but it looks awfully complicated to me!
I couldn’t really concentrate as the chap doing the handover was wearing a mask which was too small for his nose,  and had to hoist it up after every sentence. As he was pressing every switch and button to demonstrate it, I started getting quite germ phobic, and just wanted to find some antiviral wipes to clean everything down again!
We were also quite surprised that even though the valeting of the car had taken 48 hours, there were still dead flies stuck on the front of the car. Mr F asked if they were included free of charge, and people rushed around to remove them!
Our old car is now 14 years old, but we’re keeping it as the new car is a dog free zone!
