18 but never an adult

Today I went to my friend rainproof's 18th birthday party. We met when she, myself and pixie went to the same daycare - they we're two year-olds and I was one. And now the first of us is a legal adult and I can't believe it!
But, as you can see, although one becomes an adult in the eyes of the society, one is never too old to get an X-men pop-up comic book as a birthday present (or have a Johnny Depp -poster hanging on the wall!)
