Miniature perfection

Just a few weeks ago, I took rose cuttings from my garden in Devon. Brought the pot with me to Lincolnshire, so that I could watch over them. Lo and behold! One has produced a tiny bud. Isn't that amazing?

Enjoying bright sunshine and mild temperature, despite the forecast rain. This morning, the air was quite close, but there's a strong wind blowing away the cobwebs now. Good weather for the holidaymakers, too, which makes me happy.
