Barry Island

This morning we ended up in Barry Island for coffee and ice-cream (it would have been rude not to!). Thechimp couldn’t resist posing with the cast of Gavin and Stacey.  In extras there is a picture of thechimp eating an ice cream (only look at this if you are feeling strong) and a picture of the lovely beach at Barry Island, minutes before several coach loads of children arrived on school trips - they were having a wonderful time building sandcastles, playing football etc.  

We are now staying in a hotel attached to a castle (literally) in Brecon
