A showery day though I managed to avoid them, both in the morning when I walked to the hairdressers and in the afternoon going to the shops.

Lots of the new leaves on our beech hedge are more autumnal coloured. I don’t remember that before so it’s either due to the long dry spell or I haven't been observant in the past.
