Moorhen nd chick

As we came down to the lake this afternoon there were three moorhens out on the grass - and adult, a chick and a "juvenile" from an earlier brood in April / May this year.
I think they were all one family as the chick seemed happy around the juvenile, which in the photo appears to be helping to feed it.  Lovely to see.
