Managed a walk
Weather has been super varied today. Bouts of incredible bluster so the tent needed a bit of monitoring and adjustment.
Walked to Bull Point Lighthouse via a rather convoluted but pretty route off the main coastal path. Lots of climbing steep bits was required. The views were lovely and managed to get back to campsite just before the rain started. Feeling lucky and grateful.
Found an ancient standing stone which I need to look up as it was listed on the Ordnance survey map with no additional info.
Had cheesy chips from a local chippy - yum!
Helped to save part of a couple’s breakfast this morning after I spotted the seagulls stealing raw bacon slices from a plate next to a BBQ. I ended up shouting into their awning to get attention and chasing the birds. Thankfully they saw the funny side. Never seen a seagull flying with a slice of bacon before!
