More umbrellas!

Summer has deserted us just now.

I feel very sorry for all the school pupils, their parents, teachers and assistants who have gone the extra marathon this academic year only to be rewarded with rubbish weather this “Edinburgh Trades”holiday fortnight.

By mid August it is often the best weather of the summer but by then the Scottish schools are all back in their classrooms.

Things on the home front reached a curious crescendo around 17h!
