The big chop

I saw a tree felling sign as I went out in my usual lunchtime circuit. I thought I might have to backtrack if I came across lots of action but they must have been up and at it early. There was just lots of sawdust across the path and all these chopped up branches in the hedgerow.

As all the signs are still up I wonder if they will be back for more chopping down later.

I had an early start as I had to drop Ian off at the train station for a trip into London. I was planning on an early night to make up for that but the footie went to extra time and now I am waiting on penalties before calling it a night.
