The Spring after the Strop
I had my first blip-strop today.
I had taken lots of pictures yesterday, at least 5 of which I would have liked to have blipped. To start with I wasn't too bothered because I had an idea for today but sadly the idea sucked.
It sucked partly due to the fact that it was staged and involved me being in it (yes a tad ambitious for a relative newbie). If the artistic director and the model were not the same person it may well have come to blows. Damn you fellow blippers making such a task look easy!
It also failed for technical reasons which can be summed up by the following Chinese Proverb:
'A tripod without the camera attachment thingymajig is actually just a 3 legged pole and not particularly predisposed to having a camera balanced precariously on-top no matter how determined the photographer'
So I gave up and thought - somewhat sulkily - of yesterday's photos sitting in i-photo shouting 'pick me, I don't suck!'
But I'm no cheat! So I banished myself to the garden until I came up with something and I found that Spring was doing its thing in mighty fine style. Took this photo. Strop over and sheepish admittance that blip knows best.
