Just Human

So this report was released today, and it carries some of the experiences of pastors around the world.

The one statistic that sticks with me tonight is that 12% of ministers considered suicide in the past year. Twelve percent.

That number stuns me.
I know that number is high with the general population as well, and especially has been this past year. But to hear that more than one out of 10 pastors has struggled with this, overwhelms me.

Ministers, pastors, clergy members, they all are human too so it seems. Now if we could just give ourselves room to be human, that could be a helpful step for many.
