More Ice Cream!

It was supposed to rain today, but it didn't.

It was a lovely day, if very cold this morning.

The girls wanted to go to the Botanical gardens.  So we made up a picnic.  And off we went.  But we had to stop off at a shopping centre to get some new shoes.

The ones the girls had didn't fit them anymore.  We managed to find some, not quite what we wanted.  But they were happy with them.

It was busy at the gardens, but there's plenty of space.  So no need to be near people.  Apart from in kid's play area!!

We stayed for over 3 hours!

We had our picnic, and then went to the little cafe for an ice-cream.

Isabella chose coffee, and Mia, banana.  I was surprised at their choices.

Isabella ate all of hers, but I had to help Mia, it was a bit too much for her.

They did a lot of walking and running and eating!

I expect they will be very tired tonight.

It made my day when Isabella got in the car and said, ' that was the best day ever.'  And Mia said, ' yes, awesome'/
