Against the odds
Wet and grey. All day! Many of the plants in the 'yard are bowed down under the weight of the water. So, as Blip inspiration is somewhat lacking, here's an indoor flower. This white geranium was brought inside at the end of last summer, and plonked on to the downstairs windowsill where it's been ever since. Out of sight, out of mind, so it's hardly ever been watered. Even so, it's survived and is flowering beautifully.
Felt a bit 'grey' today, and so did MrM - it was that sort of day. A long while since we've had a holiday, and no festivals to look forward to, we decided that we both need a break. Efforts to book a campsite in the north of Scotland - or anywhere else in Scotland for that matter - were in vain. No spaces available anywhere. So we're likely to be heading south instead, just waiting for confirmation of availability...
A 'pottering' sort of day. Good to chat with Lucy in the evening.
