Party at Tot's

Here are some folks celebrating my mother's 60th birthday.

Tot's bar is a lovely wee pub in the middle of nowhere in West Cork. It seems to be the local for everyone in over a 10 mile radius.

Since the smoking ban and recession, Irish pubs have struggled to draw in the punters. Tot's have fought back with their theme nights/weeks. The pub up is dressed up with such amzing glam that it would put any float at gay pride to shame.

Imagine the local farmers turning out for Hollywood/Oscars night or village folk in swimwear for the beach weekend. It really is something special!

They dressed the bar up real nice for my ma :-)

EDIT 20/03/13:
I struggled in deciding on a picture for this night. It was a party so many to choose from. But I glad a did. My mum's husband, Mr D, is in the photo chatting to my Big Bro. They are the ones hogging the bar. Sadly Mr D died suddenly this evening. I'm glad that I had this rememorable night with him including the staying up til 5am drinking whiskey. It's important to hold onto the good memories. x
