Head Gardener’s Garden
Slept heavy last night, l don’t know if it’s old age or tension but l have to uncurl my fingers open from my palms every morning because they are gripped tight.
Up with a spring in my step and loaded the car with the bags of green rubbish and took them to the tip for 8.30.
Then on to Skipton to give Ruby a lift to work at Bolton Abbey.
Home and another good hour on the hedge then a bath and a sandwich.
Rang my car insurers to change the estimated mileage on my policy.
Covid has resulted in less local bus services, so it has meant more granny taxi than l expected, don’t mind though as l enjoy doing it.
York Gate shift this afternoon, less manic than the last two Wednesdays.
Just took a photograph of this kitchen garden belonging to the head gardener, who lives on site, before l left : so much to like here.
Just going to make dinner then watch the football and try and catch up on here when it gets too tense to watch.
