Sid Valley Ring
We were on a linear walk with our walking group today. The weather was kind and the promised rain didn’t appear until after we arrived home. A great mixture of terrain which included some coastal path walking. We were walking part 2 of the Sid Valley ring between Sidbury and Sidmouth and apparently it is the better section as far as view goes. This was our lunch spot view and the extra shows a pyramidal orchid of which we saw quite a few. They seem to be very late this year. 10 miles walked in total as we walked about a mile to get to the bus stop from where we parked the car. When I got off the bus the bus set off leaving my husband and two others still coming down the stairs. I thought bus drivers could see the stairs in their mirror. Luckily it stopped again a bit further on. Wild flowers, bird sightings and coastal views, a great day out.
The latest on the family’s belongings is they may turn up next Tuesday, not very good from a reputable removal firm.
