Demelza

There are a great many charity shops selling pre-loved stuff up and down the High Street, and by “High Street” I mean both ends – Chatham and Rochester. In fact, several charities have a shop at each end, with their upmarket donations being siphoned off to the Rochester end and the tat ending up in Chatham.
But of all of these, Demelza in Rochester is the absolute star of the show and most of the time has real vintage clothing in good condition at good prices.
Today the staff have dressed their window to suit this evening's excitement. Hurrah for them!
So much more fun than when the Wisdom Hospice in Chatham over-dosed on poppies.
