A friendly face!

Spent our day with this handsome fella :-)

After some drizzle it brightened, so we got on and took down the awning. Spent the rest of the morning doing those tidying up jobs that you do on the last day of your holiday. Then got a message from Henry that he had made his way down to Aberystwyth, and with nothing planned, and the sun putting in a late appearance, we met him in New Quay.

Had a lovely afternoon sitting on the beach, had a pasty and ice creams, and chatted. Hen is enjoying his freedom, without any set plans. He camped in North Wales last night in his tent (not just a bivvy bag and tarp) Later in the afternoon we spotted dolphins in the bay, and I decided to have a swim. Bought myself one of those towel poncho things to get dried and change under on the beach. Will be useful back home, as I'm determined to get to the beach to swim more, whatever the weather.

Left Henry just before 7, to head back towards Aberystwyth where he is going to try and get into a camp site. We filled up with petrol ready for tomorrow's drive. Now dinner and a peaceful evening reading. No football watching for us, but we hope very much that they win!
