We covered a lot of ground in our classes today - some concepts I had come across before (past tense of tha ), others were new but similar to other constructions ('s fheàrr leam .. ) but others were new and felt slightly alien (Tha mi a’ dol +a or + dhan which follows the rules of the dative . case ). All good stuff and very useful but  I am feeling brain-dead this evening.

However we've been given plenty of notes and so I can spend the rest of the summer consolidating.

I'm also  finding the explanations from the tutor really helpful in understanding the logic behind different grammar rules along with tips on how to pronounce tricky words (e.g. a Dhòmhnaill, the vocative of Dòmhnall, where the mhna are all silent).  My understanding of grammar is also improving :-)

T has a friend coming round to watch football but I think I will continue with Chicago Med.

These flowers are from the garden - one of the spots we look down from our bedroom window.
