Homeward bound

We returned home on Monday from our much too short break in the Borders. We took the scenic route back, stopping off for an early lunch at a nice cafe with tables outside in the Market Square in Duns. They seemed to have put the flags out in honour of our visit!

I was a bit nervous of what we might find when we returned to Edinburgh after all the flash floods and torrential rain on Sunday; fortunately everything seemed OK … the pots in the garden certainly didn’t need any watering!
