It's coming (close to) home

A beautiful evening for a football semi-final and punters in The Waggon and Horses just down the road sound in fine voice.

In spectacularly bad timing the pub got new owners in January 2020 just before COVID hit but has managed to survive and indeed improve - the garden is now a great place for a beer, replacing what was a car park and they have regular visits from food trucks.

I don't envy the owners on a night like this though, managing high expectations and emotions together with the beer.  Ben and Sophia are there somewhere...
