Ladies who lunch

Today was the first time since February last year that I have been able to meet up with my two good friends from work. One retired in Dec 2018 and the other was made redundant at the same time as I was in Dec 2019. We vowed to start a new club “ladies who lunch” but then COVID came along…
Living in Widnes, Bolton and Leeds we are not just around the corner from each other so this is the first opportunity since the restrictions were relaxed that we have been able to meet up. We all got trains into Manchester and had a wonderful meal (with bubbles) at a Tapas restaurant and then sat outside a pub chatting until 6pm. It was such a lovely afternoon.
