First sight of the tiny spider
I'm back blipping the first sight I had of this little spider, whose hatched eggs I blipped a few days later. The flowers are the produce of a celeriac, a rather tasty root vegetable which I over wintered after raising it in a pot near the back of the house.
These flowers are tiny, probably only three or four millimetres in diameter. I was photographing the flowers in close up when I spotted its web first and then the spider itself as it spun new threads.
I love these little details of wild life so close to home, yards in fact.
