Tour de France...7 years ago

Was in the UK, this scene was the crowd at the top of Blackstone Edge, where the tour passed through 100 yards of Rochdale....before going back to Yorkshire.

7 years and a day.

Picture flashed up on memories today.

Cragg Vale is the longest continuous climb in the country apparently. 7 miles of it if I remember rightly. Talk was it would be a test for the cylists.

Most of them actually ate their lunch coming up it......
