Sunshine and showers

Very mixed weather today but luckily the rain held off whilst I was out with my friends Susan and Jenny for an Indian take on afternoon tea. It was delicious and very good value for money so I think it won’t be long before I go back again.

Jenny and I kept Susan company as it was her mums funeral today and whilst she didn’t get on with her mum and chose not to attend the funeral, we didn’t want her to be on her own.

We were well fed as Jenny brought homemade chicken enchiladas and rhubarb and ice cream for dinner. The rain held off this afternoon so we could sit in the garden and chat, and this lovely cloud (can anyone else see a face?) floated by and I thought it would be a good blip for today.
