Modernising the Square Mile

After a wet morning the sun came out this afternoon and I was inspired to tick off one of my "to dos" by walking the boundary of the City of London.

More potential blips than I know what to do with but I've settled on this one for two reasons: first, I was astonished to learn that the City has 88km of streets - that feels a lot for such a small area; second, I wish the place I live (the London Borough of Lambeth) felt I deserved streets that were "the best in the world".
