A lovely man came to our house to help with everything we need helping with and it reminded me of this song that Alix Dobkin sang at a concert I was at a billion years ago. Unfortunately, Alix died in May. She was an amazing and brave person. 

He did the wood screws in the desk and I felt great because he had trouble with it too. I learned that bamboo is really, really hard. 

He then flipped the desk up all by himself, no help needed.

He moved my treadmill, no help needed. 

He moved my filing cabinet, no help needed.

Men's physical strength always astonishes me. They are so good at fixing things! They take care of nasty stuff so well. So every now and then .... hooray for men! ;-)

Desk doesn't work. 

However, they will send me a new controller (tech piece in the desk) and the tech support guy and I had a fabulous, funny time testing things. Samuel enjoyed me being under the desk. 

It is not easy going from an enormous desk to a perfectly reasonably sized one. We're dearly hoping we can find someone to adopt the desk - we just hate seeing something in perfectly good order go to waste. 

The room is so spacious now!
