Dust Bowl

We live on a gravel road. The problem, this time of year, is the endless string of hay trucks like this, heading to a processing facility a couple of miles up the road. Many trucks drive a reasonable speed, but some, like this idiot, whip by like he’s headed to the Hay Truck Indy 500.

We have a beautiful corner of the planet here on the Perrydale Ranch, Willamette Valley, Oregon, but these next three Dust Bowl months are not our favorite time. Heat, grass, dust.
