Holyrood High Road

Lots going on in this photo:

1) During lockdown cars were banned from the the high road of Queen's Drive between St Margaret's Loch  and the roundabout, going past Dunsapie. To stop this they put the barrier across the road. They hadn't thought to leave a gap for cyclists though so cyclists went up the pavement and then cut across the grass as you can see

2) They recently made a gap in the barrier for cyclists. Long overdue

3) Now lockdown is finishing they are debating whether to reopen the high road to cars again. There is a survey here if you want to express your opinion. I certainly prefer it with no cars. In fact I have no idea why cars would ever need to drive up there.
