Peel Wyke

Spent a damp grey morning at Peel Wyke Bassenthwaite , (while Ray went over Sale Fell), normally a place I go in the evening when there is no one there. Was lovely to see these youngsters today getting out on the lake (probably first time on an outing for many a month owing to restrictions). As I was coming away, paddle boarders were arriving plus a chap with a bigger boat.
I then walked over to Silver Meadows, there was nothing about there as it was so wet. When Ray came and met me we finished off the morning with coffee at Embleton Spa, before we go to the dentist this afternoon.
