The Marine Craft Unit, Gibraltar was a good night - the recording was disrupted by the crashing glass of empty beer bottles into the skip below. The OC's wife was distractingly gorgeous. Driving a vehicle knows as The Ice Cream Van up to RAF Troodos in the Cyprus mountains with wonderful engineer David. All over British Forces Germany (there were a lot of them, once) with another wonderful engineer, the late great Hans-Juergen, and producer Alan, my first boss. All that apprenticeship helped Mrs E and me get away with it in front of our neighbours, in the Church Hall.
