.....Jack, doing the job he was meant to do....well, holding something up at least.  As we 'retired' last night I heard a bit of a thump which you don't expect when you live in a sleepy village like ours.  Didn't think much about it until R pulled the blind up this morning and found that one of his 'stacks' of wood had collapsed!  The old saw-horse that it was stacked on had rotted out.  He's spent today constructing something to hold it up whilst Jack helps!
