Victory

I shouldn't be posting this blip as we are opposed to feeding the monkeys in our garden!
But I was on "monkey watch" when I put oranges on my bird tray. The birds were so enjoying the fruit, but the monkey arrived and my shouting and banging on the window  had no effect.
Then the photographer in me won, and I couldn't resist taking a few photos.
The extras show him enjoying his stolen orange, and then jumping from the tree onto the roof, still clutching his fruit.
I've learnt that they will ignore my shouting, so my birds will suffer for a while until the monkeys move on.
They haven't worked out how to get to the seed...but give them time.
Today has been hot - 30 deg C, not a winter's  day. Crazy weather.
