‘Barbecue in the Park on a Grey Day’

What I suspect may be a lasting legacy of the Covid-19 pandemic is the number of groups of people meeting up outdoors - often to eat and drink together - with little regard to the weather. 

It’s summer now and, though the weather was actually quite warm for Edinburgh, the sky was grey and rain was again threatened…..

But the grass and the trees were green and the group provided a bright spot in the encircling gloom!
