Enjoying the garden at Overbecks

We walked to Overbecks from the East Soar car park past the fields of poppies and skylarks.  Their bird song was utterly beautiful and you could easily spot them trying to persuade the visitors that their nests really weren’t there.  Then we took a walk up the cliff path around the coastline to watch the boats coming in and going out.  A wonderful day indeed.
