Orchids

A visit to Scout Scar and Helsington Barrows today brought us a wealth of orchids. First we found the Frog orchids, just beginning to open. Then fragrant orchid, and then Helen spotted a bee orchid! First I have ever seen up there! It has been trodden on but still ok.
We carried on to Helsington Barrows and found the Dark Red Helleborines in full flower and looking stunning.
Great timing for a visit by my sister!
