Au revoir Portobello

Everyone has been impacted by this pandemic in countless ways. In our case we have not seen some of our children and grandchildren since Christmas 2019. (I know there are many who have no idea when they will be allowed to fly overseas to visit their loved ones.)
We took a radical decision relatively recently to sell up and move south to be nearer our immediate family. “ Sold within a week” is both true and worrying! True because we agreed to sell within four days of going on the market. Worrying because it was only sold, in small print, STC. (Subject to contract.)

We agreed a completion date early in the process but because of WFH and WBCD everything in the conveyancing world is taking for ever. We booked and executed our removal without a contract. We finally exchanged at 15h this afternoon! We head south of the border to pastures new tomorrow morning.

We’ve loved our 9 year return to Edinburgh. Living by the sea here is idyllic. We will really miss it.

However, our Blip journey continues and I look forward to continuing this unique virtual communion through the medium that is for ever Blip!
