Birthday

Hard to believe it's 24 years since I held that tiny baby in my arms and looked out across the rooves of Norwich from high up in the old N&N Hospital maternity unit.   Today Ruth realised, was the first time she'd spent her Birthday in Wales.   We celebrated with a train ride, a barbecue and a delicious Chocolate Caramel Brownie Cheesecake - plus candle - that Jamie created last night.   

On the way home from the hospital that night, twenty four years ago, Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag was on the radio.  Joyful music!
