Lunch

Today, Gina and I began a trip to the north.  We made an impromptu stop for coffee in New Bern and a quick visit with our friends, the Jones’s. The last time we had seen Ron and Pat was in December 2019.  It was a fun catch up before returning to the highway.  I should mention that it’s been raining all day, the remnants of tropical storm Elsa.  

The picture was taken at the Edenton Coffee House where we had lunch.  We then made it across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to Cape Charles where we enjoyed a pizza and an overnight stay.  Extra was taken at the Deadrise Pizza Restaurant.
