Snuggle time

It was real close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit here today or about 37 degrees Celsius. It's hot on any scale you use. I don't have central air, just a swamp cooler which does an ok job. It's starting to cool off here this evening and I would let the puppies out to play in the yard if the red tail hawk weren't purched in the tree again. I realized this evening that a lot of the tall ash trees that were in the neighborhood have been cut down due to disease so the darn cottonwood is about the tallest tree in the immediate area right now. The puppies and I will be in for the evening or outside on leashes. The leash is a new experience and of course you can't run very far. So here we are on the couch curled up next to me panting instead of on the floor next to the fan. I love puppy snuggles even on 100 degree days.
