Living my dream

Going Nowhere

This seed-drill has been abandoned by the side of the road along which we walk most afternoons.

It's another fine blustery day: perfect for a brisk walk and for getting stuck into tidying the herbaceous border. I've spent much of the last few weeks getting other people's gardens sorted out for winter, so it's about time I tackled my own. Three hours' work is making me feel satisfied and productive - and motivated to keep on going until sundown.

The extra shows my go-to garden gear: the most used items in the whole shed - wheelbarrow, overalls, kneeler, hand-hoe, gloves, secateurs.
