Pinged

Yesterday's talk of darkest Yorkshire proved to be a trifle optimistic.
Off we bravely headed taking in Lincoln Cathedral on the way - and what an impressive cathedral close it was.
Back in the car and then about twenty miles on, we got pinged by track and trace. A real monopoly moment: "Go directly home, Do not pass go." Somewhere along the line we had been in contact with a Covid case and although testing negative for the last four days, we are required to self-isolate.
Where was the question and the only obvious answer seemed to be Uist. Rather surprisingly there was space on the ferry early on Wednesday - and none other for ten days - and so we drove north. 
Looking forward to a night in the car.
