Flutterby Friday

A warm, sunny morning in Essex so headed out with my parents for a little walk in Leigh On Sea - the lure of seeing the White Letter Hairstreak butterflies again proved too enticing!

Only saw 2 there today but at least they were in posing mood. Numerous red admirals and various skippers were about too.

A nice walk then into Old Leigh Town for a refreshing drink and bag of chips!! This butterfly hunting is starting off some bad habits for us!! And as we were leaving the fire brigade turned up to start a training exercise to practice rescuing people from a burning boat!
