Leaving the cinema last night at 9.55
I liked all the various lights, despite it being such an ugly place, and the sky looked lovely. There’s a digital advertising board on the elevated road, which leads to the motorway. By co-incidence, it was showing an ad for the film I had just seen. Not really my sort of film, and a lot of it seemed ludicrous, but nearly all the characters were women, and it’s heart was in the right place. It certainly passed the Bechdel test, whereby a film must have at least two named women, and two women must talk together about something other than a man. Surprising how many films don’t - including Lord of the Rings trilogy, and The Avengers for which this is a prequel as I understand it.
