Yarn festival.

Met up with the girls of my 2 craft groups to go to the Edinburgh Yarn Festival in Leith this morning. Loads of people braved the crappy rainy cold weather to visit.

After bacon butties everyone was fueled up & ready to go. Tons of stalls, beautiful wools - everyone offering something slightly different. I couldn't resist & bought some beautiful alpaca wool to make crochet rabbits for 3 different friends who've all had baby girls in the last few weeks.

Went to the pub afterwards to meet a friend who was over visiting from shanghai. Should've taken a picture of the gang to include in today's blip. But I forgot. Duh.

So had to make do with my shot of some brightly coloured yarn. It was either that or a photo if a cow covered in hand made pom poms. Really.
